The 2023 “Belt and Road Initiative”-Agricultural Sensors and Testing Technology (OBPR-OMST) sub-forum hosted by Henan Agricultural University.
In response to the Henan Provincial People’s Government’s arrangement to “hold the 3rd China·Henan Open Innovation and Transnational Technology Transfer Conference in Zhengzhou”, our school hosted the “One Belt and One Road” – Agricultural Sensors and Testing Technology from August 14th to 15th. Sub-forum. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Liu Xiaoyong, Vice President of Henan Agricultural University, delivered a welcome speech. Professor Hu Jianjun, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, presided over the opening ceremony. The forum invited Professor Dong Daming from the National Outstanding Youth and National Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, Professor Xie Lijuan from Zhejiang University, Professor Lin Jianhan from China Agricultural University, Professor Fu Longsheng from Northwest A&F University, Professor Zhang Xihai from Northeast Agricultural University, and Professor Li Zhen from South China Agriculture. Professor Yang Ning of Jiangsu University, Professor Ata Jahangir Moshayedi of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Dr Mawof Ali of McGill University in Canada, Professor Guoqing Zhao of Swansea University in the UK, Professor Iskander of Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia, Professor Lateef Bamidele Taiwo of Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, Saheed Durban University of Technology in South Africa. 14 internationally renowned experts and scholars in the field of agricultural sensors and testing technology, including Professor Sabiu and Professor Shaofeng Liu of Plymouth University in the UK, gave keynote speeches at the conference. The morning academic report on August 15 was hosted by Professor Hu Jiandong, Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the afternoon academic report was hosted by Professor Ata Jahangir Moshayedi.
At the report meeting, experts shared domestic and foreign research results, academic cutting-edge trends and innovative ideas on agricultural sensor and testing technology, which aroused enthusiastic responses from the participants and won rounds of applause.
This conference conducted academic exchanges on the key technologies and trends in the development of intelligent agricultural sensors and agricultural testing technology, aiming to jointly promote the dissemination and development of agricultural sensing technology, promote the sustainable development of the agricultural engineering discipline construction of our school, and improve our school’s Agricultural sensors and testing technology have played an important role in influencing the field of agricultural engineering.
